Royal Couple's First Dance Set to Elton John's 'Your Song'

300 guests attended Prince William and his wife Kate's evening wedding party.

Newlyweds Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge had their first dance to a cover of Elton John's "Your Song," according to Us Weekly.

Following their wedding ceremony, about 300 guests attended a lively evening wedding party at Buckingham Palace, where William and Kate danced to a live performance of John's ballad by British pop singer Ellie Goulding.

William reportedly stopped the dance early so Goulding could perform her upbeat single "Starry Eyed" off her album "Lights," a favorite of the royal couple's.

The DJ played a mix of classic rock and popular music throhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifughout the night that included Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind." Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire" was the last dance of the night.

According to London's News of the World, William's brother, Prince Harry, gave a toast later in the evening, during which he moved his brother's new bride to tears by saying he loved and cherished her as a sister.
